i like goldy games that. But I love Fireboy and Watergirl 2. I love the Dark levels on hudgames

Epic ROBLOX game, can't wait for it to be relesed

I'm on Mac OS Catalina and the Mac demo doesn't seem to be working for me. I keep getting an error message that the game can't be opened :c

me too it looks like a good game :c

The unix exec is marked as a document and not as an executable file. To fix this, right click on the application and click "Show Package Contents." Then navigate to Contents > MacOS > Vibrant Venture. Open the Terminal app and type "chmod u+x " and then drag the Vibrant Venture file. Press Enter, then go back, right click on the application again and click open, and when the security window pops up click open again, and now it works. The developer should fix this at some point.

Thanks so much!! This worked perfectly, not only for this game in particular but also some other games I've had trouble opening on my Mac. I'm not sure why this issue keeps popping up ever since I upgraded to Catalina but you're a lifesaver!

Pretty polished build, I wonder what the story is... I guess we'll have to wait for the release? ;)

this was an excellent roblox gaiden. beautiful graphics and presentation. gameplay was solid, but my ps4 controller wasn't working. good game regardless, and i wish the kickstarter well

I dont like the sprites but THE GAMEPLAY omg, when i realize I can press Q to slow time i was shocked, thanks for this good demo

A lot of games with on-the-fly switching of abilities and/or characters have a normal switch that either stops or slows down time, and quick switch which doesn't waste any time.

remember this game from roblox?

Reviewed live at: https://www.twitch.tv/naturalpowergames ; very good game. Seems to have a future honestly.

Despite being just a demo, Vibrant Venture is looking like a really well done game. The art is cartoonish, but not over the top, and the colors all really pop. And while swapping between characters while moving around feels a little awkward to me on gamepad, the controls are otherwise pretty solid. The world also has lots of nostalgia to it, genuinely feeling like a Snes style game.

Good job, devs.

Based on the video, I think it feels awkward to you because you neither sprint (which is something you do in all platformers to jump higher) nor used the character wheel to slow down time by moving the right thumbstick. Instead, you only used quick-swapping with the DPad, which is a lot harder to use.

All of these features are presented in the tutorial, but it seems like you didn't notice, which could either be our fault (bad design) or yours (not paying attention). Either way, for the next demo, we'll try making it more clear by enabling auto-sprinting by default as well as streamlining the tutorial boards more.

Also, sorry if this sounded aggressive, I only wanted to present these points of view as a means to gain a better understanding of how we can improve. They're simply objective analytical observations ;)

Thanks for playing!

I booted up the game again and, yeah, I definitely missed the option for using the right stick. Often, other games I've played with similar swap out mechanics just used the d-pad, so I instinctively went to that. As for sprinting, I knew about it, it's just that I'm forgetful and was mostly putzing around, enjoying the scenery.

Perfectly fine. A mistake occurred and was corrected, so I get that. It happens with new games.

Great demo. As someone who played Yoshi's Island growing up I appreciated the opening screen and end of level chalkboard. I recorded a clip for itch.io's YouTube channel:

Me encantó el juego

Amazing game dev had a lot of fun playing it :) i hope you enjoy my gameplay
